
Yamaha Motor Cross Merchandise Range
Yamaha Motocross were looking for a way to enhance their brand,
both on and off the track.
The Brief
The marketing problem was that Yamaha Motocross had
multiple sponsors, all of whom had their own specific requirements for
branding. They wanted to create a merchandise range that was of a suitable
quality, would appeal to sponsors and fans alike and not be cluttered
by over branding. The client also wanted to create value for
sponsors and drive increased sales across all distribution
channels.
The Execution
Arid Zone determined that the only way to meet this complex brief was
to develop and design the logos in-house. By utilising
its strong relationships with existing suppliers,
Arid Zone was able to source high quality, wearable merchandise at exceptionally low
prices. A range of colour coordinated caps, t-shirts, jackets and shirts were
created to provide a solution through:
- 100% in house branding designs that were appealing
to the eye, avoiding over crowding
- Developing high quality stylish garments that had significant market appeal
- Targeting key decision makers in sponsor companies
- Targeting motor sport’s fan base
- Creating a range for men, women and kids
- Facilitating fantastic retail price points for Yamaha Motocross
The Result
The merchandise range was distributed to retail stores, available on-line at Yamaha Motocross’ Website and available for purchase at official national motocross events. The client was extremely pleased with the results. Arid Zone exceeded our client’s expectations by:
